Cauldrons from nomad burials in the steppes of the North Caucasus foothills (11th-14th cc.)

In the article there are considered 19 nomad burials of the 11 th-14 th centuries containing bronze cauldrons. The sites were located in the steppes of the North Caucasus foothills. A description of each find is published. Summarized data is provided on the chronology of the burials, their types and the sex of the deceased. The role of the cauldrons in the funerary rite is also examined. The author stresses the fact that the burials containing cauldrons must have been belonged to representatives of the tribal aristocracy.
