Reduction of under-supply of electricity to consumers due to the use of reclosers in the rural electric network of 10 kV

Improving the reliability of agricultural networks is an urgent task, for the solution of which it is advisable to use devices that allows automating the process of managing the electrical network. About 60% of this time goes to the search and localization of the damaged site and only 40% of the time occupies by repair and restoration work. (Research purpose) To determine the economic efficiency of installing reclosers in 10 kV electrical networks. (Materials and methods) As an example, the feeder feeder has been reviewed before and after the installation of reclosers. Optimization criteria has been calculated for each option: the total annual under-supply of electricity, the number and duration of customer shutdowns. (Results and discussion) Made the necessary calculations of the options, analyzed the results obtained (Conclusions) It has been found that due to the optimal installation of reclosers, there is a decrease the number and duration of customer shutdowns, the total under-supply of electricity through the grid is reduced by 52%.
