Red tourism: definition of the concept and its development in Volgograd

This article is devoted to the study of the concept of "red tourism" and its development in the city of Volgograd. "Red" tourism is a new concept that was first used in China in 2004. The article defines the concept of "red tourism", discusses its origin and development. The history of the city of Volgograd and its prerequisites for the development of this type of tourism are considered. The tourist objects of Volgograd, which can be used in the framework of red tourism, are given.
