Brief analysis of the labor activity of the Chelkar distance to the Aktyubinsky division of the Orenburg railway in the period of the Great Patriotic War (on the materials of the regional archives of 1942)

The article examines the first period of wartime, which is characterized by the restructuring of railways in a military manner, coinciding with mass strategic evacuation and national economic transport. The labor activity of the rear railway workers who performed the tasks of wartime, who worked under conditions of considerable overload, was revealed. The deterioration of the performance indicators of the planned tasks with a shortage of workforce, depreciation of the material and technical base and weak leadership was analyzed. The maintenance and repair of roads, artificial structures and communication devices is characterized in detail.
