Crowdfunding: digital investment

The essence, current state and prospects for the development of the local crowdfunding market, which is under the influence of both internal technological factors - the digitalization of the financial market, and external pressure - an acute need for investment, which is under the sanctions of the Russian economy, are considered. Based on the analysis of scientific publications, the authors conclude that the works of local scientists and practitioners consider various aspects and components of the concept of “crowdfunding”, both the essence of the phenomenon itself and its types, without, however, leading to their uniform interpretation. The authors propose their own vision of the classification of types of business crowdfunding, taking into account their multidimensional consideration: economic essence, place of operations, the presence of legislative regulation, investment methods, types of reward. An analysis is made of the activities of platform services of the financial market, regulated by the Central Bank, as an infrastructure that ensures the functioning of the crowdfinance market. Particular attention is paid to a new trend in the financial market - the issuance and circulation of digital assets, as a new, high-tech segment of the local financial market - digital (cryptocurrency) crowdinvesting is currently being formed and developed. Information systems created in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation are also a link in the crowdinvesting infrastructure, since they are allowed the entire range of operations of “crowdfunding” investment platforms, only in digital form, in the field of digital law.
