The creative industry of Russia as a strategic resource for the national economy

The article presents the results of a study of Russia’s creative economy. Special attention is paid to the development of creative cities and clusters, their role in the Russian economy is determined, and key trends in the development of creative industries in Russian cities are identified. In addition, the essence of the concepts of “creative city” and “creative cluster” is examined, and a theoretical analysis of the main indicators of creativity is conducted, which should serve as the basis for evaluating creative cities using the methodology of the Russian State Development Corporation. The article presents approaches to the development of creative cities and creative clusters as factors that positively affect urban dynamics and improve the welfare of the population. It is argued that the development of creative industries in Russian cities, within the framework of the presented clusters, allows for the creation of creative products and increases employment, thereby improving the efficiency of the economy. The article also outlines the main indicators of creativity, which should serve as a basis for evaluating creative cities. In conclusion, the article highlights the relevance of the development of the creative industry in Russian cities and presents key trends in the development of the creative sector.
