The pectoral crosses found during the excavation of the church of Savior's necropolis in Irkutsk

In the last decade the Siberian archeology institute of studying the New Age's objects is actively developing. The objects associated with the Russian development of the Siberia are the most interesting. The archeological collections are completed by the new things, among them many pectoral crosses. There are some big stavrographic collections found but not all are published. During of the excavation of the Churcn of Savior's necropolis of XVIII century in Irkutsk the 280 pectoral crosses were founded including some unique items. The report represents the typology of the Irkutsk crosses and its dating discussion. The analysis of the pectoral crosses collection was held judging by people's sex and age in their burial places. In the result there were determined the similar tendencies that reflect the preferences of the Irkutsk people when choosing the pectoral crosses.
