Criminal characteristic of intentional destruction or damage of another’s property committed by arson

The crimes concerning with arsons are referred to the category of difficult for legal analysis. Law enforcement authorities often face difficulties in their qualification, that is, in identifying the moment of the end of arson; in determining the amount of damage; in identifying the causal relation of socially dangerous act and its consequences because of the variety of fires; in determining the subjective side, especially at mixed form of guilt. The article is devoted to the problems of struggle with the intentional destruction or damage of another’s property, committed by arson. The measures are proposed on improvement of acting legislation for tactics and methodology of crimes investigation concerning with intentional destruction or damage of another's property, committed by arson.
