Criminalistic and penal features of the investigation of crimes committed against the background of the coronavirus pandemic

The author refers to the analysis of forensic features of the investigation of those crimes that are most often committed during the coronavirus pandemic that spread in the Russian Federation in 2020. The list of investigative actions that are appropriate for the effective investigation of such crimes is provided. The author pays special attention to the criminal-legal analysis of the most common crimes during this period, which are provided for in articles 236 and 237 of the Criminal Code of Russia (violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules; concealment of information about circumstances that create a danger to life or health of people). Using current legislation and official statistics allows you to draw reasonable conclusions.
