The article deals with a forensic analysis of modus operandi provided under article 193 of the Russian Criminal Code. The author used scientific and theoretical data of a criminal law nature, as well as materials of judicial and investigative practice. Some forms of correlation of this scientific and forensic category with other elements of forensic characteristics of this crime are investigated
