The study of the personality of the victim (as an object of criminological research) in the process of investigation of crimes committed by juveniles in the state of alcoholic and (or) drugs, is of great interest for practitioners and for researchers. On the modern stage of development of criminalistics there are various theoretical areas of forensic study of personality of the victim. The identity of the victim is not only an important element of criminalistic characteristics of crimes, but also serve as the basis for the promotion of investigative leads, planning and investigation, investigation and development of measures for their prevention. In the process of investigation of crimes committed by juveniles in the state of alcoholic and (or) drug, particular attention should be paid to the study of the personality of the victim, as it is forensically relevant information about the victim of the crime helps to define one side of the individual circumstances of the offense, on the other hand is to establish the perpetrator that facilitates the disclosure and investigation of crimes in this category. The identity of the victim can solve the following forensically meaningful tasks: tactical (optimisation of the process of the investigation); search (to establish the identity of the perpetrator of the crime); prophylactic (to prevent crime); methodical (according to the analysis results, the identity of the victim, i.e. as perfect a certain group of people).
