Any model of criminal procedure is designed to reflect the conceptual provisions of the state’s criminal policy at a certain stage of its development. Therefore, the content elements of such a model, with a varying degree of actualisation, should carry information about the essence, target orientation, priorities and criteria of effectiveness of normative and law enforcement activities in the field of protection of the individual, society and the state from criminal encroachments. National criminal proceedings are no exception, modelled on the optimal combination of strategies designed to achieve the goal of stabilising and limiting crime rates and creating preconditions for positive crime trends.
