Criminalization of stalking

The problem of criminalization of stalking is actualized in this article. «Stalking» is a repeated deliberate pursuit of a certain person, as well as surveillance, or an obsessive attention from the pursuer - «stalker». Pursuit may be supplemented by solicitation, violence or threat of such violence, blackmail and destruction of property. It is stated that stalking poses a threat to the society because of the deceptiveness of the pursuit, which belies the real possibility of committment of serious and most serious crimes. A draft of criminal regulation, providing the liability for such actions, is offered.
