Criminal environment as the cause of acute social conflict in Russian society

The article analyzes the factors that determine the high level of criminalization of Russian society. One of the reasons for the negative trends is the existence of a criminal environment and criminal subculture in Russia. The author has examined the problems of relations between representatives of the criminal subculture and the clergy of the Russian Orthodox Church based on the results of his own research.
