Criminological characteristics and prevention of crimes related to excitation to suicide done by the information and telecommunication network “Internet”

The article gives the criminological characteristics of crimes associated with the inducement (inclination) to suicide using the Internet. Examples from investigative and judicial practice are given. Special attention is paid to the identity of offender and victim. The authors propose measures aimed at the prevention and minimization of the crimes under Art. 110-110.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
