Criminological characteristics and trends in criminal victimization in the Russian Federation

The article is devoted to one of the important criteria for assessing the effectiveness of criminological support of the internal Affairs bodies for the prevention of crime - the victimological aspects of crime. In the manuscript, the authors carry out a victimological analysis of crime for the period from 2012 to 2017, identify the categories of persons whose preventive impact should be a priority of the subjects of preventive activities, as well as types of criminal attacks, the minimization of which will reduce the level of victimization of the population.
