Criminological portrait of a personality of a minor in the centers of temporary isolation for juvenile delinquents

Introduction: the article presents a criminological portrait of the personality of a minor held in the centers of temporary isolation for juvenile delinquents. The study of the characteristics of such a person is due to the lack of a differentiated approach to the organization of preventive work with minors in the conditions of the regime of individual institutions of forced isolation. Materials and Methods: the research used general scientific and specific scientific methods of cognition: system-structural analysis, observation, survey, questionnaire, analysis of documentary sources of information. Results: the article describe the main components of personality characteristics of juveniles in the centers of temporary isolation for juvenile delinquents, that combines key elements: socio-demographic, criminal-legal and socio-psychological characteristics of the individual juvenile offender.
