Criminological characteristics of the personality of the perpetrator of criminal bankruptcy

Economic transformations often lead to negative manifestations in the social sphere, contradictions between social economic relations and interests of private business. Being an integral part of crimes in the sphere of economic activity, criminal bankruptcies have features characteristic of this type of crimes. They are committed under the influence of mercenary-economic motivation within legal economic activity and contrary to the Russian legislation, violating economic interests of the state and pursuing financial and illegal purposes. In this regard, the study of the personality of the criminal who commits criminal bankruptcy is of particular importance for law enforcement practice and improvement of criminal legislation. The article, on the basis of the conducted research in the Perm region and Kirov region, reveals criminological characteristics of persons committing criminal bankruptcy. The social characteristic of criminals, their moral-psychological installations and criminal-legal characteristics is analyzed.
