The article examines the possibility of using crypto currency for criminal purposes. The focus of the article is theoretical and practical aspects of the problem of qualification of theft of crypto-currency. The author offers options for qualifying criminal encroachments on the crypto currency, taking into account the bills submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, which define the concept of «crypto-currency».
