Cryptocurrencies in Russia: analysis of the legal status, problems of use and prospects for development

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of one of the popular modern digital assets - cryptocurrencies, examines the history of the development of cryptocurrencies in the world, examines the current state of their use, differences in country regulation, and examines the legal status of cryptocurrencies in Russian legislation. Based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrencies, trends have been studied and prospects for the development of cryptocurrencies and the crypto market have been identified, special attention is paid to the risks of using cryptocurrencies in illegal activities.
