Efficiency criteria for the use of fighting techniques in operational and service activities of employees of the internal affairs bodies

The article raises the actual problem of the use of physical force by police officers while solving operational tasks in their professional activities. The combat techniques of fighting regulated for employees of the internal affairs bodies are considered, according to the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated July 01, 2017 No. 450 "On approval of the Manual on the organization of physical training in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation" for studying and applying them in situations related to confrontation and detention of offenders and criminal elements. An analysis of the effectiveness of the use of combat techniques most commonly used by employees of the internal affairs bodies in real and extreme situations of official activity was carried out.
