Criteria, methods and procedures of regions classification in the management of social-economic processes

The article presents an original methodology of region classification determination on the basis of two criteria reflecting the specifics of subject-object relations. The authors emphasize that the procedures of classification involve application of the methods of descriptive and analytical statistics, the analytical method for calculations, the methods of pairwise comparisons and principal components, the logical, cluster and correlation analysis.
