The article deals with the content of the criteria for the assessment of the agricultural workers situation in the social and professional structure of the rural community in Russia. The paper describes management, activity and technology, economic, cultural and spiritual criteria. The author affirms that the conduct of analysis using these criteria will identify the ways to solve the problems of social stratification of Russian rural community.
