The article considers assessment of teaching activities based on the management of students. Describing execution of educational management, criteria and indicators of the development level of students’ self-government and its characteristics, the authors name the criteria of educational management quality. Assessment of the quality of educational management of students is determined by the management competence of a teacher, and, therefore, by the standards of teaching activity.
