Methods for production scheduling of 252Cf are described, the results of numerical modeling are given. Initial conditions, the resources, requirements and limitations are defined. Based on the required annual 252Cf production amounts, variants of long-term scheduling of target irradiation are demonstrated. Possibility of obtaining starting compositions with improved isotope composition for production of californium is shown.
