Criteria for professionalism of expert in social work

The article submits a technique to research a problem of formation of professional competence of future expert in social work at the stage of higher education preparation in accordance with the author's model of social worker. A complex methods of empirical methods and techniques is considered, these methods are appropriate to the essence of researched phenomenon: pedagogical, psychological and sociological research methods (surveys, testing, method of experts evaluation, conversation, direct and participant observation, analysis of activity’s products, methods of statistical analysis ).
