Criteria for the choice of the conceptual option of the socio-economic development of the region

The author has developed various types of criteria for a conceptual version of the development of the region. The article presents a description of the main approaches to determining the criteria for choosing a region’s development. The main distinctive features of the level of socio-economic development of the region are revealed. The author suggests taking into account the main methods of evaluation criteria. The article shows that the conceptual development of the region can be carried out in various ways. Various options for the conceptual development of regions are presented. The basic principles of the formation of the level of socio-economic development of the region at the present stage and the problems of their implementation are disclosed. The methodological foundations are based on the methods of studying system analysis, comparison and analogies, economic and mathematical modeling.
