Critical level of oxygen delivery and abdominal high-risk surgery outcome

Maintaining a normal values of oxygen delivery to tissues and organs is one of the primary goals of anesthesia, especially during high-risk surgery. This article analyses the results of study, which included 84 surgical patients with a varied indicators of oxygen delivery. The results of the study show that the inadequate level of oxygen delivery is an indicator of a greater incidence of postoperative complications in high-risk abdominal surgery patients.
