The article analyzes food supply of the army and the urban population in the rear of General A.I. Denikin’s army in its interrelation with the crisis of commodity-money circulation. It highlights the economic, political, military, and bureaucratic factors causing the disruption of the food supply. The article also discusses the connection between the crisis of commodity-money circulation and the crisis of commodity-money circulation in the anti-Bolshevik South of Russia in 1919.
