The crisis of commodity-money circulation and food supply of the army and the urban population in Russia’s “white south” (1919)

The article analyzes food supply of the army and the urban population in the rear of General A.I. Denikin’s army in its interrelation with the crisis of commodity-money circulation. It highlights the economic, political, military, and bureaucratic factors causing the disruption of the food supply. The article also discusses the connection between the crisis of commodity-money circulation and the crisis of commodity-money circulation in the anti-Bolshevik South of Russia in 1919.
