The crisis in the semiconductor industry in Russia: causes, consequences, prospects

This paper examines the problem of the continuation and intensification of the crisis of semiconductor products, as well as the impact of this process on production and institutions located in the Russian Federation. The aspects that continue to slow down the normalization of the production of semiconductors, as well as equipment based on these electronic components, have been studied. In the course of the study, the issues of organizing the supply of semiconductor products of foreign manufacturing companies under sanctions, as well as the implementation of their own production to solve the problems of the domestic market were considered. The article analyzes the production of semiconductors in Russia, as well as the possible use of manufactured products to de-escalate the resulting internal crisis. The composite components that are necessary for the production of semiconductor products, as well as their availability on the domestic market, have been studied. The possibility of introducing counter-sanctions by the Russian Federation against foreign companies producing semiconductor products and their likely consequences for production worldwide is considered. Conclusions are drawn regarding the implementation of semiconductor manufacturing according to the current technological process on the territory of the Russian Federation in the current realities, as well as possible solutions to the problems that have arisen.
