Several international humanitarian organizations led a massive relief campaign in Russia during the famine of 1921-1923. The article deals with the relief aid provided by the American Relief Administration to the starving population of Crimea, and covers a conflict caused by the Crimean ARA worker’s actions in summer of 1922.
