The article is devoted to the doctrine interpretation about instantaneousness (kshanikavada) in Buddhist philosophy. In the article the opinions of various modern researchers and ancient philosophers concerning the given problem of Buddhist philosophy are analyzed. In the article there is an original interpretation of the given doctrine in its interrelation with Buddhist representations about an individual life of live beings as about a stream of "Dharmas" - ontological elements of which all real is given. S.B. Berezhnoi thinks about a concept "kshana" (instant) which inseparably linked with the theory of Dharmas of early Buddhist philosophy.
