Kuban officers in the public and cultural life of the region (second half of the 19th – beginning of the 20th centuries)

The presented article considers such aspects of the lifestyle of Kuban Cossack officers in the second half of the 19 th – beginning of the 20th centuries as the archives service, engagement in research and photography, participation in charity work. The studied issues have led to the conclusion of the active participation of Cossack officers in social and cultural life of the region.
