The “deportation of kulaks” to territories of the Komi Republic and Yamal-Nenets autonomous area in the first half of the 1930-s: distribution and number

Mass forced resettlements to northern regions of forced migrants that have been moved in mass collectivization period from places of constant residing to the Komi Republic and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area are considered on the basis of the comparative analysis of resettlement of forced migrants. Problems of distribution, housing, medical care, number and death rate of special settlers are also considered.
