Cult of columbine: main reasons for school shooting

Introduction: the author presents the results of criminological analysis of determinants of social negative phenomenon "schoolshooting", which means commission of crimes in educational institutions using firearms and/or explosives. Materials and Methods: the study was carried out using biographical, logical, historical, analytical and comparative methods. Results: one of the reasons for the commission of such delicts is revealed, the author reveals the psychological and social features of schoolshooting phenomenon. Discussion and Conclusions: the author describes the findings that reveal the reasons for the commission of the phenomenon of “schoolshooting”.
