Cult of saints in Uzbekistan

The formation and evolution of the cult of saints, as well as its state at the present stage, are the subject of close attention both from representatives of classical oriental studies and modern authors. This article is devoted to this problem, topical for modern Islamic studies, by the example of considering the features of the preserved relics of the pre-Islamic substrate and their influence on the modern palette of religious movements in Uzbekistan.
