The conclusion is made about the need for real adaptation of the adopted legal provisions depending on the specifics of the enterprise and organization. The authors emphasize that the key method of preventing accidents at work and occupational diseases is the formation of a safety culture. According to many researchers, the decisive factor in ensuring occupational safety at work is the role of the employee's personality, his professionalism, quality of work, and psychological thinking. Safety culture is considered as an integral quality of a person characterized by a set of professional knowledge, skills and abilities for safe professional activity and a high degree of responsibility, self-organization and self-development. The research perspective suggests the development of a training program on labor protection for employees of enterprises and organizations based on international experience, aimed at creating a safety culture.
