The main aim of the text is to tell about the influence of Chinese culture on Buryat Buddhist art is defined as the borrowing of a number of decorative techniques aimed at the outward appearance of Buryat temple art. The article notes that the cultural traditions of China influenced the formation of the artistic image of the Arhats and the White Elder in Buryat non-canonical art. The text reveals that all borrowing passed a regional interpretation by Buryat masters on their own, without the participation of foreign masters
