Cancel culture: reasons for development challenges in Russia

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the active spread of the «new ethics» in the modern world, including the cancel culture, which is manifested, among other things, within the framework of the political system. The purpose of the article is to determine the reasons for the weak influence of the cancel culture on the political system of the Russian Federation. The authors reveal that due to the weakness of civil society and the great role of the political elite, the cancel culture will also have a little effect on corporations.
