Everyday life culture in the works of I.G. Pryzhov (1827-1885), a commoner (raznochinets)

The article analyzes I.G. Pryzhov’s views on the problems of the Russian history’s development in general and the history of everyday life culture in particular, which are reflected in his creative heritage. I.G. Pryzhov’s conclusion is proved that the main figure of history are common people, and the main vector of their studying is the history of their life, mode of life, moral values, their everyday life culture.
