CULTURE IN THE SCIENTIFIC - PHILOSOPHICAL CONTEXT OF THE 1950S - 1980S YEARS IN THE USSR The middle of 20th century takes the important and special place in formation of a domestic culturological thought. There was a “culturological boom” during this period in view of publications of different monographs, which were devoted to this problem. This situation invited a discussion among soviet philosophers. Current situation around a concept and essence of culture were characterized by deepening in a philosophy of culture perspective.
