Cultural security as a factor of sustainable development

The article deals with the modern approaches to the study of security issues of the modern society in relation with the sustainable development. The author analyses some approaches to the definition of the categorical apparatus. The most relevant definitions of the "cultural security" concept are considered, controversial nature of some definitions is mentioned. The author describes in brief the conditions necessary for the sustainable development of the world. The paper discusses the points of convergence and the preconditions of harmonization of the mankind with the systems surrounding its activities.
