Cultural transmission of protestantism in the Asia-Pacific region as a phenomenon of interaction between East and West

Protestantism is one of the dynamic Christian movements, with a history spanning five centuries. During this period Protestants managed to spread their worldview all around the world. Along with the religious traditions, Protestants popularize cultural achievements of the Western civilization. The question of the cultural transmission of Protestantism in Asia Pacific region should be studied properly, for the issue of the West-East cultures' interaction is one of the most pressing in the modern humanities. The author pays particular attention to the Protestant missionary movement as one of the most important factors driving the evolution of the world culture.
