Glazichev’s cultural-historical views on the city

The article analyzes the understanding of the phenomenon of the city given by the famous cultural studies scholar V. L. Glazichev. The author of the article investigates the process of foundation of the urban environment. A special attention is paid to the points of the city’s infrastructure and creation of a “smart city".
