The educational activity of the Saratov Society of Fine Arts lovers in the sphere of dramatic art and dramatic reading (based on the local periodical press)

The educational activity of the Saratov Society of Fine Arts lovers in the sphere of dramatic art and dramatic reading, realized at the end of the XIXth century, is considered. Based on the material of the local periodical press, “Saratov newsletter” in the first instance, and the archive records of the society, there is described and analyzed the content of the theatrical performances and literary evenings, organized by the educational union. Besides it is concluded about the results of work of these directions.
