Cultural entertainment for industrial workers of the Kherson province in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries

The paper considered one of the components of everyday life of industrial workers - namely, cultural entertainment and leisure. The geographical scope covered the Kherson province on the South of the Russian Empire, and period of time being the second half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The study described the appearance of working people, their visiting theaters and taverns. The author paid attention to intellectual advancement of industrial workers with mentioning the level of their religionism.
