Cultural egoist of the 20th century: D. S. Merezhkovsky

The article deals with a conception of culture and revolution, considering specific interpretation of the culture's role in the Russian revolution of the 20 th century. The author substantiates the leading role of Dmitry Merezhkovsky in formation of the conception of the Russian culture's future, interpretation of the Russian revolution phenomenon, and its influence on the historic and cultural destiny of Russia.
