The occupation layer and the habitation levels at the Zaraysk site

Over the years of research a specific methodology for identifying habitation levels, i. e. «residential space», was developed at the Zaraysk site. The archaeological analysis of the occupation layer is performed in close connection with the scientific analysis of the deposit formation. Understanding the distinctive features of domestic economy and household activity complexes as well as the reasons of their variability and direct analysis of their components makes it possible to reveal characteristics and specific traits of various sections at the site.
