Therapy of exacerbations of chronic paranoid schizophrenia (efficiency of clozapine, risperidone, olanzapine, quetiapine and typical neuroleptics and its dependency on clinical peculiarities of the disease)

Results of comparative research of efficiency of clozapine, risperidone, olanzapine, quetiapine and high-potential typical neuroleptics under stopping therapy of exacerbations of chronic paranoid schizophrenia are given. The highest efficiency of clozapine and the least efficiency of quetiapine are established. Clinical predictors of therapeutical efficiency by all famous neuroleptics are marked out. Principles of differential approach to usage of atypical neuroleptics for treatment of acute continuous paranoid schizophrenia are specified.
