The article is devoted to sculptural images from a Turkic times at a Shoroon Dov barrow in Central aimak of Mongolia. The heads of wooden sculptures are analyzed. The author puts forward a suggestion of portrait character of wooden sculptures, to the fullest extent appearing in a "dudu" sculpture. The author comes to a conclusion that there are possible ethnic prototypes of the sculptural images found in a barrow - representatives of the Turkic nobility (fugu tribe) and Tan's empire administration.
